Gavellese and the Montechiarugolo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 37 minutes into the match, Montechiarugolo AFC's Anfilogino Preda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Mazza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute Anfilogino Preda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes U.P. Gavellese's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alex Mori who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Montechiarugolo AFC's Alex Mori to fire away a dangerous shot which Bruno Mazza despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
U.P. Gavellese made a substitution. Alessio Volta replaced Ulysses Lucas. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Macchia made a kick off. The corner led Montechiarugolo AFC's Alex Mori to fire away a dangerous shot which Bruno Mazza despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bruno Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Preda in the 62nd minute of play. Alessio Volta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pär Are having to interfere. U.P. Gavellese's Bruno Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Mori in the 68th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, U.P. Gavellese's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Mori came free, but Bruno Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, U.P. Gavellese's Ricardo Kaká made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pär Are was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pär Are made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessio Volta in the 78th minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match, Alex Mori got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bruno Mazza was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 92nd match minute, Montechiarugolo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Quattrocchi to maneuver through the defense. After 93 played minutes U.P. Gavellese got a freekick which was hit by Alessio Volta. Bruno Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniele Bevilacqua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Cesaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to U.P. Gavellese getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Bruno Monaco hit a great ball. Montechiarugolo AFC's Alex Mori shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 98th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bruno Mazza but with some difficulty. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Montechiarugolo AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
