An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Manzi in the 15th minute of play forced Navacchio's goalkeeper Aurelio Ceresoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Nayely stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferdinando De Simone's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Abelardo Nayely made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Signori in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eraldo Maurizi in the 25th minute of play forced Navacchio's goalkeeper Aurelio Ceresoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eraldo Maurizi took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Ceresoli. Aurelio Ceresoli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Armin Manzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Aurelio Ceresoli made a huge save. Aurelio Ceresoli made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Eraldo Maurizi sent off a good shot on target. After 38 played minutes Navacchio got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Restaino. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ettore Lelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. CabaretVoltaire's supporters rose to their feet, but Ettore Lelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Ceresoli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abelardo Nayely took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Șerban Mereacre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ettore Lelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelio Ceresoli was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 44th minute, Eraldo Maurizi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eraldo Maurizi in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Ceresoli saved Navacchio from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferdinando De Simone made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Ferdinando De Simone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abelardo Nayely was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a little luck, CabaretVoltaire's Abelardo Nayely got control of the ball when Șerban Mereacre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Șerban Mereacre made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 69thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Abelardo Nayely would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Șerban Mereacre in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abelardo Nayely, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filippo Nazzari in the 72nd minute of play forced Navacchio's goalkeeper Aurelio Ceresoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Ermanno Giocondo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CabaretVoltaire's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Navacchio the free kick. After a rather tough play, CabaretVoltaire's Ermanno Giocondo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. CabaretVoltaire's Camillo Pollastrini was substituted for Armin Manzi. The CabaretVoltaire fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CabaretVoltaire fans cheered their team off the field, for while Navacchio had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
