Domenico Lauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Gurgul in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rossanese's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alberigo Sacchi was slow to take the kick. During this time NewDip F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. NewDip F.C.'s Alberigo Sacchi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alfredo Giorda in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 22nd match minute, Rossanese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Berger to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Gurgul was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes NewDip F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dino Cavallaro. 52 minutes into the match, NewDip F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Gurgul came free, but Domenico Lauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefan Indyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Domenico Lauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alessio Giusti's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Alfredo Giorda skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ferruccio Scalabrino kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Domenico Lauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Gurgul, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Alfredo Benarrivo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domenico Lauro. NewDip F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Benarrivo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The audience was convinced that Alessio Giusti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Giorda was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. With a little luck, Rossanese's Alfredo Giorda got control of the ball when Federico Di Maria tried to sneak it across the goal line. NewDip F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
