Dumitru Velicu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Liu Xing Qiang made a huge save. Betão Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liu Xing Qiang having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Velester Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Serafim Malta came free, but Ferdinando Scarinci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Velester Football Club's Dumitru Velicu got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferdinando Scarinci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erwin Jadamowitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Liu Xing Qiang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC from getting a goal against them. Stefan Fausild made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Velester Football Club's Concetto Mascitti. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Mascitti in the 38th minute of play forced Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's goalkeeper Liu Xing Qiang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Concetto Mascitti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liu Xing Qiang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liu Xing Qiang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Mascitti in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Velester Football Club's Alvise Ferraresi got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute of the match Corrado Mancini sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferdinando Scarinci skillfully saved the ball.

52 minutes into the match, Velester Football Club's goalkeeper Ferdinando Scarinci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francesco Coscia. Dumitru Velicu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dumitru Velicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liu Xing Qiang having to interfere. Velester Football Club's Ferdinando Scarinci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwin Jadamowitz in the 61st minute of play. Ferdinando Scarinci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francesco Coscia in the 63rd minute. Ferdinando Scarinci was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Francesco Coscia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 66 minute of play. Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's Aldo Maiorano was substituted for Corrado Mancini. Velester Football Club's Dennis Rullo was substituted for Betão Camargo. Velester Football Club made a substitution. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafim Malta got free with Ferdinando Scarinci in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Dumitru Velicu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velester Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Dumitru Velicu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Liu Xing Qiang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC made a substitution. Christian Bulla replaced Quique Branca. Dumitru Velicu took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Liu Xing Qiang. Liu Xing Qiang dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Cristiano Mantini fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Velester Football Club's protests and gave Cristiano Mantini a yellow card for diving instead. Cristiano Mantini hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
