ASD USAC's Francesco Ferraro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Velicu in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Velester Football Club were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 75th minute Dumitru Velicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Ferraro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ASD USAC's Demetrio Tagliente got a free kick in the 81st minute. Velester Football Club's Ferdinando Scarinci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas Novaes in the 84th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, ASD USAC's Silas Novaes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as ASD USAC had held the ball for most of the match.
