LIVIOFOREVER's Fabiano Rago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save LIVIOFOREVER from getting a goal against them. Octav Alexa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giancarlo Antognoni in the 9th minute of the match. Carmine Milani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Octav Alexa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Emanuele Morelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octav Alexa was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 15th minute, Attilio Sanna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vandalino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Octav Alexa came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by LIVIOFOREVER's Emanuele Morelli. But to his dismay, Emanuele Morelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Emanuele Morelli got in the 28th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Octav Alexa handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 28 minutes, Emanuele Morelli made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Vandalino's Octav Alexa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. LIVIOFOREVER's Fabiano Rago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Uguccioni in the 34th minute of play. Octav Alexa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giancarlo Antognoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Emanuele Morelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Alexa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, LIVIOFOREVER's Giuliano Galfrè got a free kick in the 38th minute. Fabiano Rago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferruccio Terrasi in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Giancarlo Antognoni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LIVIOFOREVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giancarlo Antognoni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Vandalino's Amos Melone got a free kick in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Vandalino's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuele Morelli came free, but Octav Alexa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 49th minute of the match Vandalino got a corner. LIVIOFOREVER's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabrizio Lovera ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fabrizio Lovera made a great header on Vandalino's corner, it was just that LIVIOFOREVER's Fabiano Rago managed to reach the ball for a save.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuele Morelli got free with Octav Alexa in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Attilio Sanna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabiano Rago was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vandalino's goalkeeper Octav Alexa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Attilio Sanna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Cosimo Picozzi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Octav Alexa. That made the score 2-4 in the 71 minute of play. With a little luck, Vandalino's Octav Alexa got control of the ball when Giancarlo Antognoni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Octav Alexa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th match minute, Vandalino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Barone to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded.
