With a left leg Ercüment Sayman saved Comira AFC from getting behind. Ercüment Sayman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dumitru Velicu in the 19th minute. Ercüment Sayman acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emanuel Gliga. If Aleksandr Mirkovich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 29 minutes, Cristiano Mantini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Velester Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Mantini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Comira AFC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Aleksandr Mirkovich hit a great ball. Ferdinando Scarinci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Giorgio in the 34th minute of play. With a little luck, Comira AFC's Ercüment Sayman got control of the ball when Felice Apicella tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dumitru Velicu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ercüment Sayman was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Velester Football Club's Ferdinando Scarinci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Velester Football Club from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Velester Football Club's Donato Gaeta got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The throw-in from Dave Gervasi in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Velester Football Club's Yin Zhi Wei. Comira AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
