Spectators: 8468 (Terracing: 6352, Seating: 1947, VIP seats: 169) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dario Melani took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Lucchetti in the 2nd minute of play forced Molfetta sportiva's goalkeeper Flavio Lavatrice to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Amadei in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Bonanni saved BRAL VAL from getting behind. Molfetta sportiva's Flavio Lavatrice played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Lucchetti in the 5th minute of play. Flavio Lavatrice didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luca Lucchetti went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Angelo Bonanni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Iannone in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, Molfetta sportiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Fantini to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Lavatrice came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by BRAL VAL's Luca Lucchetti. But to his dismay, Luca Lucchetti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Guido D'Angelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute Luca Lucchetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Lavatrice saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Lavatrice made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Lucchetti in the 31st minute of play. In the 38th minute, Armando Amadei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, BRAL VAL's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Amadei came free, but Angelo Bonanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Fabiano Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the game, one of BRAL VAL:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Angelo Bonanni, was totally fooled by Molfetta sportiva's Carmine Villani, who 47 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luca Lucchetti to make the kick off. BRAL VAL's Luca Lucchetti got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flavio Lavatrice made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Luca Lucchetti sent off a good shot on target. Luca Lucchetti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Flavio Lavatrice when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 60 minutes into the game, Luca Lucchetti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BRAL VAL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Molfetta sportiva the free kick. After 60 played minutes BRAL VAL got a freekick which was hit by Luca Lucchetti. Angelo Bonanni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Amadei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 played minutes BRAL VAL got a freekick which was hit by Luca Lucchetti. After a rather tough play, BRAL VAL's Luca Lucchetti got a free kick in the 69th minute. If Carmine Iannone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Molfetta sportiva defense, Luca Lucchetti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Lavatrice. The Molfetta sportiva fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Lavatrice should have stopped the shot. BRAL VAL made a substitution. Alfredo Bucciarelli replaced Frank Piretti. BRAL VAL were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Molfetta sportiva's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luca Lucchetti took the corner. The corner ended in Luca Lucchetti almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Molfetta sportiva's Flavio Lavatrice did a great save. In the 94th match minute, Molfetta sportiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmine Iannone to maneuver through the defense. Cesare Di Renzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Molfetta sportiva supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching BRAL VAL's performance. The match ended with a win for BRAL VAL.
