Cristoforo Tammaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felice Tacco's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Joel Hibai in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hélio O'Connell, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 29th minute Lunatics of Arianrhod were awarded a corner. Joel Hibai went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 34th minute of the match Andrea Mariani sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristoforo Tammaro skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Maritek FC's Hélio O'Connell got control of the ball when Fedele Panza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maritek FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Fedele Panza scored to the left of an out of position Hélio O'Connell, making the score, 1-0. Flavio Morelli kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Andrea Mariani took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristoforo Tammaro. Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cristoforo Tammaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felice Tacco in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Maritek FC's Ettore Santo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristoforo Tammaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felice Tacco to strike the kick off in the second half. Hélio O'Connell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedele Panza, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
