Pär Are stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İldeniz Turatekin's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Supremacy Catania FC got a corner. Coviolo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amerigo Costanzo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dennis Baggio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. İldeniz Turatekin scored 2-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pär Are, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pär Are came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Supremacy Catania FC's Raimundo Espírito Santo. But to his dismay, Raimundo Espírito Santo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Raimundo Espírito Santo sped through Coviolo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pär Are. In the 97th minute, Raimundo Espírito Santo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pär Are was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. When the referee ended the match the Supremacy Catania FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
