The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zsigmond Bertha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krisztián Galambos in the 3rd minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Juventus 73's goal looked a bit too open when Krisztián Galambos came free, but Zsigmond Bertha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Juventus 73's Endre Bognár sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tamás Sinka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dávid Tokaji received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tamás Sinka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, DVTK's Márk Láng got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, DVTK's goalkeeper Tamás Sinka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dávid Tokaji. Balázs Kalmár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balázs Kalmár took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zsigmond Bertha. Zsigmond Bertha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus 73's zone, Balázs Kalmár stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zsigmond Bertha came out of the goal and Balázs Kalmár tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Balázs Kalmár had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Juventus 73's goal looked a bit too open when Krisztián Galambos came free, but Zsigmond Bertha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dávid Tokaji received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Tamás Sinka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Endre Bognár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Krisztián Galambos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Endre Bognár fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tamás Sinka having to interfere. Dávid Tokaji received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Tamás Sinka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the DVTK defense, Endre Bognár kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tamás Sinka. The DVTK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tamás Sinka should have stopped the shot. Zsigmond Bertha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krisztián Galambos in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind DVTK's goalkeeper Tamás Sinka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zsigmond Bertha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krisztián Galambos in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Endre Bognár ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tamás Sinka was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Dávid Tokaji's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tamás Sinka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. György Lovas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tamás Sinka having to interfere. Tamás Sinka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dávid Tokaji in the 90th minute of play. Tamás Sinka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dávid Tokaji in the 94th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
