Himod VSC's Richárd Gácsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Péter Bíró in the 4th minute of play. Péter Bíró recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brúnó Hajdú fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zsombor Jósa having to interfere. Benjámin Kováts hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 1-0 became the score in the 37th minute when Brúnó Hajdú elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. György Tolnay hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Norbert Lencse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Richárd Gácsi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Norbert Lencse to make the kick off. The supporters of Green Dogs FC booed when Himod VSC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tamás Ambrus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Himod VSC's zone, Norbert Lencse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richárd Gácsi came out of the goal and Norbert Lencse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Péter Bíró received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Richárd Gácsi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute Norbert Lencse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richárd Gácsi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richárd Gácsi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norbert Lencse's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Péter Bíró fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richárd Gácsi having to interfere. The referee ignored Green Dogs FC's protests and gave Benjámin Kováts a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Lencse in the 90th minute of play forced Himod VSC's goalkeeper Richárd Gácsi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richárd Gácsi made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Péter Bíró sent off a good shot on target. Norbert Lencse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Himod VSC's Richárd Gácsi got control of the ball when Péter Bíró tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Himod VSC could leave the field as winners, despite Green Dogs FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
