In the 3rd minute, Andor Hellinger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bulcsú Benke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Antal Bognár tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Kristóf Kardos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aquincum Legion FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristóf Kardos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egon Vermes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sajópálfala FC's Egon Vermes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Sajópálfala FC from getting a goal against them. After 22 played minutes Sajópálfala FC got a freekick which was hit by Benjámin Bodó. In the 24th match minute, Aquincum Legion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristóf Kardos to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Bulcsú Benke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sajópálfala FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bulcsú Benke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antal Bognár breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roland Ferencz during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, Bulcsú Benke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antal Bognár was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Bulcsú Benke came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Sajópálfala FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bulcsú Benke couldn't finish the play. Egon Vermes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Imre Vermes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 36 minute of play. József Takács recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Andor Hellinger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Andor Hellinger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bulcsú Benke might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antal Bognár. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bulcsú Benke ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andor Hellinger got free with Antal Bognár in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th match minute, Aquincum Legion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Imre Vermes to maneuver through the defense. Sajópálfala FC's Egon Vermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristóf Kardos in the 59th minute of play. Antal Bognár was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bulcsú Benke showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 60 minute of play. Aquincum Legion FC's Antal Bognár played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krisztián Somogyi in the 64th minute of play. Sajópálfala FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bulcsú Benke in the 65th minute. The corner led Sajópálfala FC's Bulcsú Benke to fire away a dangerous shot which Antal Bognár despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 67 played minutes Sajópálfala FC got a freekick which was hit by Benjámin Bodó. Egon Vermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristóf Kardos, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Sajópálfala FC's Krisztián Somogyi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Antal Bognár. That made the score 2-3 after 69 minutes of play. Egon Vermes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Suphi Duran went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. 78 minutes into the match, Sajópálfala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kristóf Kardos came free, but Egon Vermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Suphi Duran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Egon Vermes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Egon Vermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Suphi Duran in the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Imre Vermes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Egon Vermes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Bulcsú Benke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sajópálfala FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
