After 18 minutes of play Fc Lecsike's Vilmos Czibor was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. László Kenesei hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gedeon Csontos got free with Bálint Zakariás in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ákos Szűrös hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Gedeon Csontos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bálint Zakariás having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Péter Vadas got free with Bálint Zakariás in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Péter Vadas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Lecsike's supporters rose to their feet, but Péter Vadas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bálint Zakariás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Géza Battai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from József Titkos in the 34th minute of play. Gedeon Csontos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Fc Lecsike getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Péter Vadas hit a great ball. Fc Lecsike's Géza Battai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by László Lévay in the 42nd minute of play. József Titkos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Géza Battai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from József Titkos, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Gedeon Csontos made the kick off in the second half. If László Lévay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gedeon Csontos came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Fc Lecsike fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gedeon Csontos couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gedeon Csontos in the 59th minute of play forced Nincs egy vasam Se's goalkeeper Bálint Zakariás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If József Titkos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Gedeon Csontos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bálint Zakariás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when József Titkos got free with Géza Battai in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gedeon Csontos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Fc Lecsike's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after József Titkos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
