Spectators: 8065 (Terracing: 6050, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 160) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when József Bolla got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Christian Kilstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Attila Saághy came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by RedBull Diósgyőr FC's Christian Kilstedt. But to his dismay, Christian Kilstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 14th match minute, Csécse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Endre Lukács to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the game, Endre Lukács was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Csécse's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RedBull Diósgyőr FC the free kick. A collision led to Csécse getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Endre Lukács hit a great ball. When Csécse's József Bolla in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RedBull Diósgyőr FC's goalie prevented a goal. Christian Kilstedt struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Attila Saághy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RedBull Diósgyőr FC. Attila Saághy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Kilstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nándor Szekeres hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 29 minutes of play, Csécse's Dávid Berta made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Attila Mesterházy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nándor Szekeres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attila Saághy having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Kilstedt in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Attila Saághy saved Csécse from getting behind. György Rácz kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Csécse defense, Christian Kilstedt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Attila Saághy. The Csécse fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Attila Saághy should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Jakab Boross made the kick off in the second half. Nándor Szekeres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Tamás Gera fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Csécse's protests and gave Tamás Gera a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Tamás Gera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Csécse's Zoltán Páncsics seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zoltán Páncsics the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Csécse protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zoltán Páncsics had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Csécse:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of RedBull Diósgyőr FC:s goal. In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for RedBull Diósgyőr FC. Jakab Boross stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Attila Saághy. 1-3. Jakab Boross hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute Nándor Szekeres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attila Saághy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes RedBull Diósgyőr FC got a freekick which was hit by Jakab Boross. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, József Bolla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Csécse's supporters rose to their feet, but József Bolla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Attila Mesterházy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Attila Mesterházy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from József Bolla, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Jaime Porres hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in RedBull Diósgyőr FC's zone, József Bolla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Attila Mesterházy came out of the goal and József Bolla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Csécse booed when RedBull Diósgyőr FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Porres didn't get a good kick on the ball. The RedBull Diósgyőr FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing RedBull Diósgyőr FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
