Bernt Lundin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but János Zarka showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. The supporters of Vág booed when Nagykarácsony was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Sundin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Géza Dárdai made a kick off. In the 56th minute Torsten Sundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernt Lundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernt Lundin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Sundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A very good chance for a goal. 91 minutes into the game, Torsten Sundin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Bernt Lundin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 97 minutes of play, Nagykarácsony's Félix Baló made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernt Lundin was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Nagykarácsony players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
