After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Wilfredo Bermudez managed to get in a good position for a shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 12 minutes into the game, when Placido Ostargi put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Magyarcsanád fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! Balázs Kocsis had in the 13thth minute some difficulties stopping Roland Berkes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Balázs Kocsis came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Mesterháza's Roland Berkes. But to his dismay, Roland Berkes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 17th minute Wilfredo Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Balázs Kocsis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balázs Kocsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Bermudez in the 32nd minute of the match. The throw-in from Mihály Cseh in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Magyarcsanád's László Virágh. 38 minutes in the game Higinio García did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Mihály Cseh. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roland Berkes to strike the kick off in the second half. Pál Borsos kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Márton Kósa struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Gyula Grósz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magyarcsanád. Gyula Grósz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márton Kósa, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. A nice corner shot did that Károly Iványi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gyula Grósz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pál Borsos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfredo Bermudez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Balázs Kocsis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Wilfredo Bermudez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mesterháza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Bermudez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Magyarcsanád's Balázs Kocsis got control of the ball when József Berecz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 70 minutes Magyarcsanád's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roland Berkes who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Mesterháza getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Higinio García hit a great ball. Balázs Kocsis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wilfredo Bermudez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 79 minute of play. Balázs Kocsis came out of the goal and Roland Berkes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mesterháza's Roland Berkes in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Magyarcsanád's goalie prevented a goal. János Erdei charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed János Erdei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th match minute, Magyarcsanád was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by János Erdei to maneuver through the defense. Roland Berkes in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Balázs Kocsis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mesterháza's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
