To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the game, Zalán Mónos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Árpád Gyenes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tamás Markovits got free with Kristóf Balázs in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the game, Újlõrincfalva LC's Szabolcs Vígh nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Árpád Gyenes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjámin Rákosi to make the kick off. Zakariás Somogyis short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Árpád Gyenes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gábor Sárosi came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Árpád Gyenes could save by the left post. 61 minutes into the match, Cerebral FC's goalkeeper Árpád Gyenes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gábor Sárosi. The supporters of Cerebral FC booed when Újlõrincfalva LC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zakariás Somogyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zakariás Somogyi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Árpád Gyenes came out and tried to block the shot, but Zakariás Somogyi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 70th minute. Cerebral FC made a substitution. Bence Gulyás replaced Vilmos Király. 75 minutes into the match, Zakariás Somogyi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Árpád Gyenes. Cerebral FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zakariás Somogyi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. The supporters of Újlõrincfalva LC booed when Cerebral FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjámin Rákosi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Árpád Gyenes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Áron Jánosi in the 83rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Újlõrincfalva LC's Szabolcs Vígh slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Árpád Gyenes. That made the score 0-8 after 85 minutes of play. Cerebral FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Szabolcs Vígh scored to the left of an out of position Árpád Gyenes, making the score, 0-9. Újlõrincfalva LC played a much better game than Cerebral FC and deserved their victory. The Cerebral FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
