In the 3rd minute Rodriguinho Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gyula Grósz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mesterháza's Gyula Grósz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renátó Tulipán in the 20th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renátó Tulipán in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gyula Grósz saved Mesterháza from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktoras Tremis in the 31st minute of play forced Mesterháza's goalkeeper Gyula Grósz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bélkő SE's Sándor Sári played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by József Berecz in the 32nd minute of play. Gyula Grósz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renátó Tulipán in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Bélkő SE's goalkeeper Sándor Sári had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pál Borsos. After 37 minutes Bélkő SE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roland Berkes who took care of the corner kick. Mesterháza's Roland Berkes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sándor Sári in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 37thth minute of the game József Berecz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bélkő SE's Sándor Sári was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Sándor Rácz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sándor Sári was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Krisztián Vékony kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Rodriguinho Neto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bélkő SE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mesterháza the free kick. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Viktoras Tremis sped through Mesterháza's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gyula Grósz. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roland Berkes made a kick off. Renátó Tulipán received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
