With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rudolf Mátyás in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferenc Seres saved Szögligeti SE from getting behind. Szögligeti SE's Ferenc Seres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álmos Csáki in the 63rd minute of play. Ferenc Seres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Mátyás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 played minutes Szögligeti SE got a freekick which was hit by Orest Turevych. In the 73rd minute Florian Trzaskoma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferenc Seres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yarema Gurzhiy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Antal Pádár made a huge save. Braulio Dacio might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ferenc Seres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Braulio Dacio ran back to his position shaking his head. Ferenc Seres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pál Sugár, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Rapid booed when Szögligeti SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernát Kutasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 played minutes, Rapid's Krisztián Sinkó shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ferenc Seres came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rapid reached it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rapid had played much better football throughout.
