Spectators: 8517 (Terracing: 6388, Seating: 1959, VIP seats: 170) Rapid's Rudolf Mátyás started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kisbágyon's Ivan Linquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Mátyás in the 2nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rapid's Gergely Kovács got a free kick in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolf Mátyás in the 5th minute of play forced Kisbágyon's goalkeeper Ivan Linquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Koppány Dobos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Linquist came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Rapid's Braulio Dacio. But to his dismay, Braulio Dacio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Rapid's goalkeeper Antal Pádár had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bence Madaras. Ivan Linquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Mátyás in the 16th minute of play. Antal Pádár made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Sass in the 18th minute of play. Ivan Linquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pál Sugár, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Kisbágyon's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Mátyás came free, but Ivan Linquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bence Madaras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Antal Pádár made a huge save. In the 32nd minute Ádám Soltész shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antal Pádár saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kisbágyon's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Béla Rácz in the 33rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Béla Rácz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Antal Pádár quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ivan Linquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Mátyás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antal Pádár made an important save on a dangerous shot by Koppány Dobos in the 43rd minute. With an all-out effort, Kisbágyon's Antal Pádár threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ádám Soltész, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 47 minutes into the match, Rapid's goalkeeper Antal Pádár had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bence Madaras. After the first half Rapid were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bence Madaras to make the kick off. The supporters of Kisbágyon booed when Rapid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gergely Kovács didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Kisbágyon getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Norbert Kiss hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Ádám Soltész got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koppány Dobos in the 62nd minute of play forced Rapid's goalkeeper Antal Pádár to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Linquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álmos Csáki in the 63rd minute of the match. Antal Pádár made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bence Madaras in the 68th minute of play. Tamás Szaniszló kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Ivan Linquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rudolf Mátyás in the 74th minute. When Braulio Dacio came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Rapid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Dacio couldn't finish the play. Rudolf Mátyás struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Ivan Linquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rapid. In the 86th minute Zoltán Sass shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antal Pádár saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koppány Dobos in the 91st minute of play forced Rapid's goalkeeper Antal Pádár to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Koppány Dobos struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Antal Pádár didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kisbágyon. Bence Madaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antal Pádár having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rapid had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
