A nice corner shot did that Zénó Polgár got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Béla Simon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Béla Simon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Csongor Csorba in the 35th minute. Edelényi Bányász's Béla Simon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Edelényi Bányász from getting a goal against them. Lajos Józsa charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lajos Józsa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Szajk LC's András Horváth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guo Jing Yuan in the 46th minute of play. Béla Simon was a little too slow when Levente Makkai got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Szajk LC's Severo Ulizes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Károly Sándor in the 53 minute of the game. Szajk LC's Levente Makkai got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th match minute, Edelényi Bányász was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lajos Murai to maneuver through the defense. When Levente Makkai came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Szajk LC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Levente Makkai couldn't finish the play. Béla Simon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Levente Makkai in the 60th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Csongor Csorba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szajk LC's supporters rose to their feet, but Csongor Csorba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Béla Simon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Károly Sándor made in the 66th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Szajk LC's Severo Ulizes. Béla Simon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levente Makkai, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Szajk LC made a substitution. But to his dismay, Csongor Csorba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 81 minutes into the match, Edelényi Bányász's goal looked a bit too open when Csongor Csorba came free, but Béla Simon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 86 minutes, Csongor Csorba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szajk LC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Csongor Csorba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trenton Alexander-Arnold hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the game, one of Edelényi Bányász:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Edelényi Bányász:s Béla Simon showed great skill when he stopped Lajos Józsa:s penalty. Lajos Józsa did an outstanding performance 93 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 3-0 to the right of an irritated Béla Simon in the goal. Béla Simon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Csongor Csorba, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Béla Simon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Csongor Csorba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
