Tibor Bányai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Madarász, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kornél Buday charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kornél Buday the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes Szomjas Vámpírok got a freekick which was hit by Kornél Buday. After having played for 10 minutes, Soma Révész managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szomjas Vámpírok's supporters crossed their fingers, but Soma Révész was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The nice shot from Bernát Bíró in the 12thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Kálmán Virágh had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. When Richárd Újvári fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gomba SK's protests and gave Richárd Újvári a yellow card for diving instead. When Szomjas Vámpírok's Bernát Bíró in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gomba SK's goalie prevented a goal. If Valentin Dala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Soma Révész managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szomjas Vámpírok's supporters rose to their feet, but Soma Révész was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kálmán Virágh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Gomba SK's Endre Barabás got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Brúnó Sipos kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Endre Barabás hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Bernát Bíró who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gomba SK's Kálmán Virágh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute Bernát Bíró shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kálmán Virágh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, Gomba SK's Roland Madarász made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tibor Bányai was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Kálmán Virágh managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Szomjas Vámpírok's Bernát Bíró fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tibor Bányai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Madarász in the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute of the match Ervin Petres sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tibor Bányai skillfully saved the ball. Brúnó Sipos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kálmán Virágh having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Soma Révész managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szomjas Vámpírok's supporters rose to their feet, but Soma Révész was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kálmán Virágh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernát Bíró stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Soma Révész managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szomjas Vámpírok's supporters crossed their fingers, but Soma Révész was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute, Endre Barabás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Bernát Bíró's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kálmán Virágh was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Szomjas Vámpírok were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
