Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42 played minutes Kisgyőr.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Kornél Lovas. Lajos Mónos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without István Gerencsér having to interfere. István Gerencsér was a little too slow when Lajos Mónos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Kemence VSC's Ronny Björklund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Kemence VSC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that János Udvarhelyi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronny Björklund was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. László Kocsis hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. István Gerencsér didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lajos Mónos went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Csanád Tímár came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ronny Björklund could save by the left post. In the 63rd minute Dénes Tóth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Björklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, János Udvarhelyi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72ndth minute of the game János Udvarhelyi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kemence VSC's Ronny Björklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Csanád Tímár's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Ronny Björklund skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 80 played minutes Kemence VSC got a freekick which was hit by Lajos Mónos. Ronny Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from János Udvarhelyi in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Kisgyőr.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Kiss came free, but István Gerencsér reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Kisgyőr.F.C.'s János Udvarhelyi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Kisgyőr.F.C.'s János Udvarhelyi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ronny Björklund. That made the score 2-4 after 93 minutes of play.
