Viktor Lőrincz got a throw-in 15 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Csaba Segesváry. If Zoltán Hegedűs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Zoltán Hegedűs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Björklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes Kemence VSC got a freekick which was hit by Olivér Nagy. After 25 minutes Kemence VSC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Géza Kulcsár who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Grnd Juventus NNNL's corner Árpád Almási fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ronny Björklund quite easily take care of the ball. With his leg Ronny Björklund managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Grnd Juventus NNNL's Nilton Ferraz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ronny Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Hegedűs in the 29th minute of play. Ronny Björklund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zoltán Hegedűs went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Grnd Juventus NNNL getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Zoltán Hegedűs hit a great ball. When Zoltán Hegedűs came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Grnd Juventus NNNL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zoltán Hegedűs couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Kemence VSC's zone, Zoltán Hegedűs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronny Björklund came out of the goal and Zoltán Hegedűs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronny Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Hegedűs in the 41st minute of play. In the 46th minute Ümit Nazmi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norman Grieve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norbert Kiss stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronny Björklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zoltán Hegedűs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Zoltán Hegedűs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Björklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kemence VSC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Géza Kulcsár was slow to take the kick. During this time Grnd Juventus NNNL's players had a chance to rest. Grnd Juventus NNNL's Péter Kovács was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ronny Björklund in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The throw-in from Viktor Lőrincz in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Grnd Juventus NNNL's Rómeó Győrfi. Ronny Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ádám Soós in the 76th minute of play. Ronny Björklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ádám Soós, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 92nd minute, Zoltán Hegedűs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronny Björklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Ronny Björklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Árpád Almási, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grnd Juventus NNNL's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
