The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antal Tímár during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoltán Hegedűs in the 5th minute of play forced Sajószöged KTK's goalkeeper Mihály Buday to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Árpád Almási kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Zoltán Hegedűs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mihály Buday read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Zoltán Hegedűs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mihály Buday was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Álmos Bertha made in the 17th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Roland Keresztesi immediately put the ball in play. Sajószöged KTK's Mihály Buday proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Sajószöged KTK from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd match minute, Sajószöged KTK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Benczur to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Géza Kulcsár got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mihály Buday showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoltán Hegedűs in the 25th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Grnd Juventus NNNL's Zoltán Hegedűs slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mihály Buday. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. Mihály Buday was a little too slow when Zoltán Hegedűs got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 3-0. Mihály Buday came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Grnd Juventus NNNL's Zoltán Hegedűs. But to his dismay, Zoltán Hegedűs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When Grnd Juventus NNNL's Zoltán Hegedűs in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sajószöged KTK's goalie prevented a goal. Zoltán Hegedűs might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihály Buday. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zoltán Hegedűs ran back to his position shaking his head. Sajószöged KTK's Mihály Buday played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoltán Hegedűs in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Sajószöged KTK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by László Nánási to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ádám Soós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Péter Kovács kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Mihály Buday made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Hegedűs in the 62nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Sajószöged KTK defense, Zoltán Hegedűs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihály Buday. The Sajószöged KTK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihály Buday should have stopped the shot. Zoltán Hegedűs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mihály Buday made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Hegedűs in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Lénárd Tóth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 80 minutes of play, Grnd Juventus NNNL's Ádám Soós made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mihály Buday was left in no man's land by his defense there! Grnd Juventus NNNL were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Sajószöged KTK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Géza Kulcsár took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Nilton Ferraz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mihály Buday quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Norman Grieve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoltán Salgó in the 91st minute of the match. After 92 minutes Grnd Juventus NNNL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was László Nánási who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Zsolt Lipták got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Norman Grieve quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sándor Edelényi kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Sajószöged KTK's Lénárd Tóth quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edvin Tischler, made in the 95th minute of the game. Norman Grieve made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Lénárd Tóth sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Grnd Juventus NNNL's Géza Kulcsár got a free kick in the 96th minute.
