Relja Repac started the match with the kick off. Zrinko Božić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Višeslav Trošelj in the 9th minute. Zrinko Božić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miljenko Hunjadi in the 16th minute of the match. Miljenko Hunjadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Zrinko Božić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Višeslav Trošelj made a precise shot to the right of Zrinko Božić. Gornji Bogićevci Standard's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 28th match minute, HrV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dubravko Vedriš to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes Gornji Bogićevci Standard got a freekick which was hit by Šime Buvac. If Miljenko Hunjadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 41 minutes on the clock, Kruno Avlijaš commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 41st minute, Kruno Avlijaš hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

54 minutes into the match, Gornji Bogićevci Standard's goal looked a bit too open when Vilim Račan came free, but Zrinko Božić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zrinko Božić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Relja Mehulić in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute Vilim Račan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zrinko Božić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 60 in the game by Tomica Janić from a close distance when the talented Arsen Bošnjak managed to make a qualified save. HrV's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teo Pervan during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gornji Bogićevci Standard's Teo Pervan got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Zrinko Božić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Višeslav Trošelj in the 63rd minute of the match. Marijan Beroš kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Gornji Bogićevci Standard's Gradimir Pendo got a free kick in the 66th minute. Miljenko Hunjadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zrinko Božić having to interfere. HrV's Miljenko Hunjadi got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Miljenko Hunjadi managed to get in a good position for a shot. HrV's supporters rose to their feet, but Miljenko Hunjadi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zrinko Božić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zrinko Božić came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by HrV's Višeslav Trošelj. But to his dismay, Višeslav Trošelj quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Tomica Janić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Arsen Bošnjak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to HrV getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Relja Mehulić hit a great ball. A collision led to Gornji Bogićevci Standard getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Teo Pervan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miljenko Hunjadi in the 88th minute of play forced Gornji Bogićevci Standard's goalkeeper Zrinko Božić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd match minute, Gornji Bogićevci Standard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marijan Beroš to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. HrV fully deserved thier win.
