Spectators: 7968 (Terracing: 5977, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Krešo Švaljek started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Matko Frantal sped through NK SAVA Strmec's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roman Tuna. Roman Tuna was a little too slow when Matko Frantal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 2-0. After some careless play in the NK SAVA Strmec defense, Matko Frantal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Tuna. The NK SAVA Strmec fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Tuna should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute, Orbiteri's Stojko Žunac dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. After 43 played minutes NK SAVA Strmec got a freekick which was hit by Jure Salaj. Ninoslav Podvršnik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jure Salaj in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Tonči Purić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ninoslav Podvršnik having to interfere. Ninoslav Podvršnik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jure Salaj in the 56th minute. Jure Salaj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ninoslav Podvršnik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Orbiteri's Sandi Pelaić seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sandi Pelaić the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Orbiteri protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sandi Pelaić had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Orbiteri! When Matko Frantal came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Orbiteri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matko Frantal couldn't finish the play. After 70 played minutes Orbiteri got a freekick which was hit by Josip Mikulić. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matko Frantal in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Tuna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Matko Frantal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matko Frantal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rikard Hodak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matko Frantal in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Tuna saved NK SAVA Strmec from getting behind. Rikard Hodak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Roman Tuna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Matko Frantal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Orbiteri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Orbiteri had won after a very even match.
