Spectators: 6845 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1845, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Višeslav Trošelj kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, NK SAVA Strmec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gojko Mikas to maneuver through the defense. Miljenko Hunjadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Tuna having to interfere. NK SAVA Strmec's Roman Tuna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilim Račan in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, NK SAVA Strmec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gojko Mikas to maneuver through the defense. Siniša Dragašević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Tuna having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Siniša Dragašević left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HrV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Višeslav Trošelj managed to get in a good position for a shot. HrV's supporters rose to their feet, but Višeslav Trošelj was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Tuna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to HrV getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Vice Lončarević hit a great ball. With his leg Arsen Bošnjak managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when NK SAVA Strmec's Jure Salaj fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tonči Purić during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to NK SAVA Strmec getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Tonči Purić hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Višeslav Trošelj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Tuna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arsen Bošnjak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krešo Švaljek in the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, HrV's goal looked a bit too open when Krešo Švaljek came free, but Arsen Bošnjak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Višeslav Trošelj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Tuna having to interfere. Miljenko Hunjadi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Tuna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Većeslav Rauk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Miljenko Hunjadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Krešo Švaljek to make the kick off. Roman Tuna made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Višeslav Trošelj sent off a good shot on target. Ljubomir Barukčić hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 59th minute, but Roman Tuna got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving NK SAVA Strmec hanging dry this time. Miljenko Hunjadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Tuna having to interfere. Đuro Dumančić hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Mato Buhač hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 70 minutes in the game Višeslav Trošelj after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Roman Tuna. A very good opportunity. 79 minutes into the match, NK SAVA Strmec's goalkeeper Roman Tuna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Višeslav Trošelj. Miljenko Hunjadi might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Tuna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miljenko Hunjadi ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, NK SAVA Strmec's Roman Tuna got control of the ball when Višeslav Trošelj tried to sneak it across the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, NK SAVA Strmec's goalkeeper Roman Tuna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vilim Račan. Roman Tuna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miljenko Hunjadi in the 94th minute of play. NK SAVA Strmec's Roman Tuna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save NK SAVA Strmec from getting a goal against them. HrV played a much better game than NK SAVA Strmec and deserved their victory. The NK SAVA Strmec players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
