Spectators: 10858 (Terracing: 8145, Seating: 2497, VIP seats: 216) Dobrica Maksić made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the match, FK ORLOVI's goalkeeper Marin Pejaković had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danijel Petrlin. Marin Pejaković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danijel Petrlin in the 7th minute of play. Maksimir were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after FK ORLOVI's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adam Dodaj took the corner. Billie Denijs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Marin Pejaković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marin Pejaković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danijel Petrlin in the 14th minute of play. Danijel Petrlin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marin Pejaković came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Maksimir's Danijel Petrlin. But to his dismay, Danijel Petrlin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danijel Petrlin in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marin Pejaković prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Danijel Petrlin made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Maksimir's Danijel Petrlin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marin Pejaković narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Dobrica Maksić took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Boleslaw Jaktorowo to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Danijel Petrlin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marin Pejaković was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Marin Pejaković showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danijel Petrlin in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Danijel Petrlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marin Pejaković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marin Pejaković showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danijel Petrlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Danijel Petrlin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marin Pejaković. FK ORLOVI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danijel Petrlin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. In the 82nd minute, Danijel Petrlin made a precise shot to the right of Marin Pejaković. FK ORLOVI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. After 85 minutes of play, Maksimir's Danijel Petrlin made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marin Pejaković was left in no man's land by his defense there! FK ORLOVI's Marin Pejaković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danijel Petrlin in the 89th minute of play. If Danijel Petrlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Danijel Petrlin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marin Pejaković. FK ORLOVI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danijel Petrlin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-1. Maksimir walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
