Romeo Vrhovec kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Kazimir Pendo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Povratnici's Višeslav Berend. Višeslav Berend made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimir Pendo in the 7th minute of play. Višeslav Berend stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakab Soós's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. The audience was convinced that Jakab Soós's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Višeslav Berend was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Povratnici defense, Kazimir Pendo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Višeslav Berend. The Povratnici fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Višeslav Berend should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimir Pendo in the 20th minute of play forced Povratnici's goalkeeper Višeslav Berend to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. NK Dubrava Zagreb's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Charles Mariano in the 22nd minute. Lv Xi Cheng was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 24 minutes into the match, Kazimir Pendo notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Povratnici's Višeslav Berend. Višeslav Berend was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. NK Dubrava Zagreb's Tage Myrholm managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rueben Hughes in the 26 minute of the game. Višeslav Berend made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimir Pendo in the 28th minute of play. Povratnici's Grga Frković quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tage Myrholm, made in the 31st minute of the game. NK Dubrava Zagreb's Kent Klint played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrej Palković in the 35th minute of play. Kazimir Pendo took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Višeslav Berend. Višeslav Berend dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. A collision led to NK Dubrava Zagreb getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jakab Soós hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

NK Dubrava Zagreb's Ilko Lokin was substituted for Charles Mariano. Kazimir Pendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, NK Dubrava Zagreb's Kazimir Pendo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Višeslav Berend. Višeslav Berend yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kazimir Pendo got free with Višeslav Berend in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. NK Dubrava Zagreb's Gordan Sedmak was substituted for Jakab Soós. In the 69th minute of the match NK Dubrava Zagreb got a corner. Povratnici's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ilko Lokin ran over to the corner to take the kick. NK Dubrava Zagreb's Antun Zahora got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Višeslav Berend took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antun Zahora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Višeslav Berend made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Antun Zahora sent off a good shot on target. Antun Zahora received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Višeslav Berend came out and tried to block the shot, but Antun Zahora slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 81st minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Gordan Sedmak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NK Dubrava Zagreb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gordan Sedmak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antun Zahora took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Višeslav Berend. Višeslav Berend dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Antun Zahora received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Višeslav Berend came out and tried to block the shot, but Antun Zahora slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 89th minute. Tage Myrholm hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
