Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000,
Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) Chécy's Jolan Bellone started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jolan Bellone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Antoine Gilquin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antoine Gilquin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jolan Bellone went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 19th play minute Jacob Calvi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Noël Leboulanger. 1-2. Noël Leboulanger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxime Cosson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacob Calvi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noël Leboulanger having to interfere. Jolan Bellone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Antoine Gilquin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chécy's Jolan Bellone got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jolan Bellone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the game, Chécy's Gérald Alexandre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antoine Gilquin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maxime Cosson to strike the kick off in the second half. Chécy's Manuel Liberge got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Chécy's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Calvi came free, but Noël Leboulanger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Gérald Alexandre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chécy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carpiquet the free kick. After 60 played minutes Chécy got a freekick which was hit by Gérald Alexandre. In the 68th minute Jacob Calvi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noël Leboulanger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacob Calvi in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noël Leboulanger saved Chécy from getting behind. Jolan Bellone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoine Gilquin having to interfere. After having played for 74 minutes, Jacob Calvi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carpiquet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacob Calvi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute, one of Chécy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chécy. In the 81st minute, Manuel Liberge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antoine Gilquin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Manuel Liberge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jolan Bellone in the 86th minute of play forced Carpiquet's goalkeeper Antoine Gilquin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Charles Tesson kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When Jacob Calvi came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Carpiquet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacob Calvi couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob Calvi in the 95th minute of play forced Chécy's goalkeeper Noël Leboulanger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxime Cosson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Chécy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
