After having played for 15 minutes, Nolan Pavard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.L.B.Portugal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nolan Pavard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sallaumines's zone, Réda Antoni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corentin Bressy came out of the goal and Réda Antoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lenny Pailler charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lenny Pailler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, Lenny Pailler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Réda Antoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Corentin Bressy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nolan Pavard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corentin Bressy having to interfere. Sallaumines's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joey Hidalgo ran over to the corner to take the kick.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mamadou Levasseur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Réda Antoni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Réda Antoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corentin Bressy having to interfere. When Lenny Pailler was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 56 minutes had been played. After 57 played minutes Sallaumines got a freekick which was hit by Lenny Pailler. After having played for 58 minutes, Réda Antoni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miguel Sousa made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Hamza Ginoux sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the match, Sallaumines's Flavien Bonamy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Sousa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Réda Antoni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samir Badie during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Samir Badie hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Sallaumines's goal looked a bit too open when Nolan Pavard came free, but Corentin Bressy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
