Hugo Junique charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Junique the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Hugo Junique hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mickaël Rohmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steevy Vivant in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Toulouse United's goal looked a bit too open when Bryan Rottier came free, but Mickaël Rohmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sammy Couffin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noa Santamaria having to make a save. If Matteo Julia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sammy Couffin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Noa Santamaria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bryan Rottier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mickaël Rohmer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Sammy Couffin made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Anstaing getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Lucas Kaminski hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Benjamin Leal sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Anstaing's Noa Santamaria didn't even have to move. Toulouse United's Mickaël Rohmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryan Rottier in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Toulouse United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernand Châtelet to maneuver through the defense. Matteo Julia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Noa Santamaria made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Anstaing's Gameiro Maupin got a free kick in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Anstaing's zone, Matteo Julia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noa Santamaria came out of the goal and Matteo Julia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Noa Santamaria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy Couffin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugène Guitard during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 82 played minutes Anstaing got a freekick which was hit by Eugène Guitard. Sammy Couffin struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Noa Santamaria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toulouse United. Matteo Julia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Noa Santamaria skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Matteo Julia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Matteo Julia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugène Guitard kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Matteo Julia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noa Santamaria having to interfere. Many of Toulouse United's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Toulouse United may have spent more time on the ball, but Anstaing were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
