Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Blanquefort's Paulo Rue started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Blanquefort's Adam Payan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdel Armengaud in the 5th minute of play. Adam Payan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Michel Duchez in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Michel Postic in the 14th minute of play forced Blanquefort's goalkeeper Adam Payan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Michel Postic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Adam Payan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Blanquefort was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philibert Barba to maneuver through the defense. After 31 played minutes Silvares SCP got a freekick which was hit by Romaric Lannes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Philibert Barba got free with Axel Guffroy in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, Silvares SCP's goalkeeper Axel Guffroy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Philibert Barba. In the 41st minute, Blanquefort's Philibert Barba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Mathis Boissonnet hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 48 minutes of play, Silvares SCP's Jean-Michel Postic made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adam Payan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When Junior Garnier fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blanquefort's protests and gave Junior Garnier a yellow card for diving instead. Junior Garnier kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Axel Guffroy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philibert Barba in the 56th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Abdel Armengaud was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silvares SCP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blanquefort the free kick. Adam Payan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Tirard in the 60th minute of play. Axel Guffroy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Rue in the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Blanquefort's Cédric Glatigny got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 67th match minute, Blanquefort was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakim Revel to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Michel Postic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Adam Payan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernard Tirard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Adam Payan made a huge save. In the 70th minute, Bernard Tirard reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adam Payan. The goal made the score 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Tirard in the 73rd minute of play forced Blanquefort's goalkeeper Adam Payan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Guffroy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Rue, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 80 minutes, Lucas Decaux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silvares SCP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Decaux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Blanquefort's zone, Jean-Michel Postic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Payan came out of the goal and Jean-Michel Postic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernard Tirard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Guffroy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Rue's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
