Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boris Gourlay ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Noé Derville to make the kick off. Sorbiers 1908 F.C.'s Franklin Schreiber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Sorbiers 1908 F.C. from getting a goal against them.
