Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stéphane Couasnon started the match with the kick off. Aurélien Gimenez scored 0-1 in the 2nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean Merrien, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jean Merrien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Bréhier in the 5th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the game, Ulysse Touchet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Greux's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ES.PFETTISHEIM the free kick. After 7 played minutes Greux got a freekick which was hit by Ulysse Touchet. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stéphane Couasnon got free with Mathieu Verhaeghe in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Greux's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kylian Bertaud in the 20th minute. The corner ended in Stéphane Couasnon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ES.PFETTISHEIM's Mathieu Verhaeghe did a great save. 24 minutes into the match, Lucien Patrice had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mathieu Verhaeghe. ES.PFETTISHEIM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucien Patrice was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Aurélien Vandenbossche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jean Merrien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eden Rosset got free with Mathieu Verhaeghe in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mathieu Verhaeghe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucien Patrice in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ES.PFETTISHEIM's Patrick Ratier got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute, Sébastien Fabbri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the game, Guy Dumas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ES.PFETTISHEIM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Greux the free kick. Mathieu Verhaeghe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stéphane Couasnon in the 56th minute of the match. Merlin Arnou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Merrien having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Eden Rosset cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Mathieu Verhaeghe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joe Bréhier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Jean Merrien made a huge save. Jean Merrien made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Joe Bréhier sent off a good shot on target. Lucien Patrice charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucien Patrice the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, Lucien Patrice hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stéphane Couasnon took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathieu Verhaeghe. Mathieu Verhaeghe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurélien Gimenez in the 95th minute of play forced Greux's goalkeeper Jean Merrien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Greux had won after a very even match.
