Everardo Silbestre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Boulange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Durotar Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Boulange came free, but Everardo Silbestre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Durotar Football Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Philippe Taverne was slow to take the kick. During this time Pillonnières's players had a chance to rest. In the 16th match minute, Pillonnières was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romain Knecht to maneuver through the defense. The Pillonnières fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Pillonnières's Philippe Taverne looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Durotar Football Club getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Paul Verhaeghe hit a great ball. Jean-Marc Métivier kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of Durotar Football Club booed when Pillonnières was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philippe Taverne didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes Durotar Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Paul Verhaeghe. Everardo Silbestre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Merlaud in the 33rd minute of the match. Herbert Goupy kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Cyrille Hermant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Charles Boulange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Silbestre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durotar Football Club's Everardo Silbestre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Boulange in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Philippe Taverne made a precise shot to the right of Everardo Silbestre. Durotar Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Pillonnières's Jim Ondet got a free kick in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Everardo Silbestre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Boulange, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Lilian Gaude dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Everardo Silbestre, 0-4. Everardo Silbestre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Merlaud in the 65th minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Durotar Football Club! In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Pillonnières. Philippe Taverne stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Everardo Silbestre. 0-6. Thanks to some nice moves Charles Boulange could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Everardo Silbestre however easily saved by the left post. 0-7 became the score in the 83rd minute when Lilian Gaude elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Philippe Taverne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lilian Gaude sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Philippe Taverne's late challenge caught a Durotar Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Philippe Taverne helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Pillonnières got a freekick which was hit by Philippe Taverne. Charles Boulange received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Everardo Silbestre came out and tried to block the shot, but Charles Boulange slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 99th minute. Pillonnières's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
