Dylan Badier scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Axel Pichaud, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Morgan Audoin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Massy getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Luis Maugard hit a great ball. Massy's Morgan Audoin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Massy from getting a goal against them. Montanay were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Massy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux took the corner. The corner ended in Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Massy's Morgan Audoin did a great save. A collision led to Montanay getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Yohann Fréchou hit a great ball. Rodrigue Goude took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Axel Pichaud. Axel Pichaud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 32nd match minute, Massy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Maugard to maneuver through the defense. Morgan Audoin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Axel Pichaud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigue Goude in the 36th minute of play. Massy's Luis Maugard got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Maugard charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Maugard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luis Maugard kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Massy's Morgan Audoin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Massy from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute, Marc-Antoine Bonne made a precise shot to the right of Axel Pichaud. Montanay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodrigue Goude was the one to do the kick off. Massy's Morgan Audoin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Just Doucet in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Just Doucet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montanay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Montanay's Axel Pichaud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dylan Badier in the 57th minute of play. With a little luck, Montanay's Axel Pichaud got control of the ball when Dylan Badier tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 65 minutes of play, Massy's Marc-Antoine Bonne made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Axel Pichaud was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 70 minutes, Yohann Fréchou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montanay and the Massy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Montanay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yohann Fréchou to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Montanay's goalkeeper Axel Pichaud had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marc-Antoine Bonne. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steevy Dumay in the 78th minute of play forced Massy's goalkeeper Morgan Audoin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Montanay's Axel Pichaud proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Montanay from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the match, Luis Maugard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Axel Pichaud. Montanay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Maugard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. When Dylan Badier fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Massy's protests and gave Dylan Badier a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes Massy got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Badier. In the 89th minute, Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Morgan Audoin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Firmin Josephine hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Morgan Audoin. Massy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. Massy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
