Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Alphonse Kermarrec started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. But to his dismay, Thibault Amy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. OLD PUNX NEVER DIE's supporters crossed their fingers, but César Tourneux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bixente Poujol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Tourneux in the 39th minute of the match. Bixente Poujol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Tourneux in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, OLD PUNX NEVER DIE's César Tourneux sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bixente Poujol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Bixente Poujol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Tourneux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thibault Amy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Bixente Poujol made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as César Tourneux kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bixente Poujol. That made the score 0-3 in the 81 minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Gérald Salvador hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute Romuald Roesch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tzanyo Vrechkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, César Tourneux reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bixente Poujol. The goal made the score 0-4. OLD PUNX NEVER DIE played a much better game than Corbier and deserved their victory. The Corbier players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
