Franklin Lombard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, Royal Eagles FC's Kader Antier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franklin Lombard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Mathias Goiano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hocine Bompastor in the 15th minute. Franklin Lombard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kader Antier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Gendolla in the 27th minute of play forced Le Mans U.C's goalkeeper Franklin Lombard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rémy Martelli struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Mathias Goiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Le Mans U.C. A collision led to Le Mans U.C getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Romaric Brosseau hit a great ball. Gustave Villers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Goiano having to interfere. The supporters of Le Mans U.C booed when Royal Eagles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kader Antier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Le Mans U.C's Franklin Lombard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Gendolla in the 47th minute of play.

After a rather tough play, Royal Eagles FC's Gilbert Gendolla got a free kick in the 56th minute. When Théodore Ré fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Royal Eagles FC's protests and gave Théodore Ré a yellow card for diving instead. Théodore Ré hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boris Östlund got free with Franklin Lombard in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michel Niel kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Kader Antier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Royal Eagles FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Le Mans U.C the free kick. After 64 played minutes Royal Eagles FC got a freekick which was hit by Kader Antier. In the 65th minute of the match Sidney Cochez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mathias Goiano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Royal Eagles FC were furious when Gaël Itier was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Gaël Itier hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Le Mans U.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Gilbert Gendolla scored to the left of an out of position Franklin Lombard, making the score, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustave Villers in the 76th minute of play forced Royal Eagles FC's goalkeeper Mathias Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Royal Eagles FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Théodore Ré hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Royal Eagles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hocine Bompastor came free, but Mathias Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Rubio scored 1-4 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mathias Goiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Royal Eagles FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
