Simon Legras charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Legras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. François-Xavier Ferrière made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Peyrot in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Neudorf's Félicien Gagne got a free kick in the 14th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Philippe Castillon got free with William Polo in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, Dieppedalle's goalkeeper William Polo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Redouane Giard. William Polo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Philippe Castillon went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Neudorf's zone, Bob Jeanroy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. François-Xavier Ferrière came out of the goal and Bob Jeanroy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg William Polo managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Neudorf's Philippe Castillon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Neudorf fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Neudorf's Philippe Castillon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 31st match minute, Dieppedalle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre Peyrot to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Christophe Moal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without François-Xavier Ferrière having to interfere. When Jean-Christophe Moal fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dieppedalle's protests and gave Jean-Christophe Moal a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Dieppedalle's Jean-Christophe Moal got a free kick in the 38th minute. If Philippe Castillon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Philippe Castillon was the one to do the kick off. In the 58thth minute of the game Redouane Giard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dieppedalle's William Polo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Dieppedalle's goal looked a bit too open when Redouane Giard came free, but William Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, one of Dieppedalle:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Neudorf a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Redouane Giard, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dieppedalle's William Polo. 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philippe Castillon in the 85th minute of play forced Dieppedalle's goalkeeper William Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th match minute, Dieppedalle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bob Jeanroy to maneuver through the defense. William Polo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Redouane Giard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Neudorf were the better team. Neudorf's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
