After a rather tough play, Minnesota United FC's Elia Coco got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 15 played minutes Minnesota United FC got a freekick which was hit by Charles-Emmanuel Gonon. Minnesota United FC's Elia Coco quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Johnny Gomis, made in the 17th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Minnesota United FC defense, Michel Niel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anatole Cipriani. The Minnesota United FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anatole Cipriani should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute, Kader Antier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilbert Gendolla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anatole Cipriani came out and tried to block the shot, but Gilbert Gendolla slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 68th minute. In the 72nd match minute, Minnesota United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 邱常傲 to maneuver through the defense. Raymond Horel hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Boris Östlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Anatole Cipriani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kader Antier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anatole Cipriani having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Minnesota United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elia Coco to maneuver through the defense. Anatole Cipriani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kader Antier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Royal Eagles FC booed when Minnesota United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clovis Wernert didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Royal Eagles FC's Michel Niel tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Clovis Wernert hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Michel Niel, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Minnesota United FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Royal Eagles FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
