The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Bordeaux's goal looked a bit too open when Gérald Germon came free, but Luis Desvignes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Desvignes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gérald Germon in the 7th minute of play. After some careless play in the Bordeaux defense, Johan Lefebre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Desvignes. The Bordeaux fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Desvignes should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Primitivo Gonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosière FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Primitivo Gonzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Desvignes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruben Zajac took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis Desvignes. Luis Desvignes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Johan Lefebre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Desvignes having to interfere. A collision led to Bordeaux getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jean-François Martz hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Bordeaux defense, Ludwig Josef kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Desvignes. The Bordeaux fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Desvignes should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute, Johan Lefebre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rosière FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. With a little luck, Rosière FC's Sixto Ferrer got control of the ball when Ronan Blaize tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Primitivo Gonzo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luis Desvignes. Bordeaux's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Primitivo Gonzo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Luis Desvignes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Primitivo Gonzo's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. If Primitivo Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Gonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Desvignes having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Bordeaux booed when Rosière FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morgan Merlo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Bordeaux defense, Primitivo Gonzo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Desvignes. Boris Gorce replaced Danny Aymes. Luis Desvignes was a little too slow when Ruben Zajac got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-11. After 82 minutes, Janusz Watarz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rosière FC and the Bordeaux players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Bordeaux's Luis Desvignes got control of the ball when Ludwig Josef tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th minute Emánuel Végh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Desvignes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosière FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
