Daryl Cottineau was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Lyon 69ers's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 17 minutes into the match, Karim Giroud had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luis Desvignes. Bordeaux's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karim Giroud was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 20 minutes into the match, Bordeaux's goal looked a bit too open when Francis Graffin came free, but Luis Desvignes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jean-François Martz fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bordeaux's protests and gave Jean-François Martz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Daryl Cottineau made a precise shot to the right of Luis Desvignes. Bordeaux's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Barthélémy Cathelain put in a rough tackle. Luis Desvignes went to the wrong direction when Karim Giroud was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 29th match minute, Bordeaux was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronan Blaize to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Jean-François Martz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Bordeaux defense, Daryl Cottineau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Desvignes. The Bordeaux fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Desvignes should have stopped the shot. Luis Desvignes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yohann Bricout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karim Giroud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Luis Desvignes made a huge save. Cyrille Bourgeois's late challenge caught a Lyon 69ers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cyrille Bourgeois helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Cyrille Bourgeois hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes Daryl Cottineau rounded Bordeaux's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 8-0. In the 46th minute, Daryl Cottineau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lyon 69ers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 9-0 at half-time.

In the 51st match minute, Bordeaux was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Bertolotti to maneuver through the defense. Luis Desvignes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daryl Cottineau, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Adrien Peixoto hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute of the match Francis Graffin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luis Desvignes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bordeaux's Luis Desvignes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yohann Bricout in the 59th minute of play. In the 61stth minute of the game Karim Giroud who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bordeaux's Luis Desvignes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ronan Blaize kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Daryl Cottineau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Desvignes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daryl Cottineau scored 12-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Desvignes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute, Daryl Cottineau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Daryl Cottineau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 15-0. Luis Desvignes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Desvignes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yohann Bricout in the 97th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Lyon 69ers were the better team. Lyon 69ers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
