The audience thought a goal was coming when Karim Giroud got free with Michal Svatek in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lyon 69ers's Daryl Cottineau was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 13th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 15 minutes of play, Lyon 69ers's Karim Giroud made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michal Svatek was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Yohann Bricout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 20 played minutes RC Aiacciu Corsica got a freekick which was hit by David Lesecq. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind RC Aiacciu Corsica's goalkeeper Michal Svatek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Daryl Cottineau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgard Dubroca hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Michal Svatek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daryl Cottineau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daryl Cottineau did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Michal Svatek 31 minutes into the match. Karim Giroud came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Michal Svatek could save by the left post. In the 41st minute, Daryl Cottineau made a precise shot to the right of Michal Svatek. RC Aiacciu Corsica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. RC Aiacciu Corsica's Michal Svatek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save RC Aiacciu Corsica from getting a goal against them. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arthur Jouenne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. RC Aiacciu Corsica's Michal Svatek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Giroud in the 52nd minute of play. Michal Svatek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yohann Bricout in the 54th minute of the match. Edgard Dubroca kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Grégoire Pause received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Grayson Gruenigen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, RC Aiacciu Corsica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grégoire Pause to maneuver through the defense. Karim Giroud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Michal Svatek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lyon 69ers had played much better football throughout.
