Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1460, VIP seats: 40) Rémy Martelli made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rémy Martelli got free with William Polo in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dieppedalle's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Luc Sarthou scored to the left of an out of position William Polo, making the score, 1-0. Dieppedalle's William Polo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luc Sarthou in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Dieppedalle's zone, Rémy Martelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Polo came out of the goal and Rémy Martelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franklin Lombard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Jeanroy, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, Le Mans U.C's Hocine Bompastor got a free kick in the 12th minute. Rémy Martelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luc Sarthou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. William Polo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pierre Peyrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd minute, Kevin Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luc Sarthou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Polo having to make a save. Gustave Villers charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustave Villers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, Le Mans U.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustave Villers to maneuver through the defense. Rémy Martelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Luc Sarthou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Le Mans U.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Luc Sarthou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Polo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jean-Christophe Moal's late challenge caught a Le Mans U.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jean-Christophe Moal helped the player get up and apologised. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre Peyrot in the 54th minute of play forced Le Mans U.C's goalkeeper Franklin Lombard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Rémy Martelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Le Mans U.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. A collision led to Dieppedalle getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jean-Christophe Moal hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Luc Sarthou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. William Polo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. William Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rémy Martelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Dieppedalle's Pierre Peyrot was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 86th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Le Mans U.C's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre Peyrot came free, but Franklin Lombard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hocine Bompastor charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hocine Bompastor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Dieppedalle booed when Le Mans U.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hocine Bompastor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dieppedalle's Hamza Maziere took a good shot, in the 91st minute, which hit the crossbar above Franklin Lombard's head, and flew over the goal. Le Mans U.C's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Dieppedalle. After a rather tough play, Le Mans U.C's Hocine Bompastor got a free kick in the 93rd minute. A collision led to Dieppedalle getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jean-Christophe Moal hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Le Mans U.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
