Spectators: 6831 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 0) Yvan Verdon started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mesclans's Yvan Verdon got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tim Lucet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vergil Kyurkchiev having to interfere. If Tim Lucet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tim Lucet struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Vergil Kyurkchiev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mesclans. Vergil Kyurkchiev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tim Lucet's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Yvan Verdon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mesclans's supporters rose to their feet, but Yvan Verdon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vergil Kyurkchiev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yvan Verdon in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vergil Kyurkchiev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 28 played minutes Aspremont got a freekick which was hit by Serge Broyer. When Tim Lucet came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Mesclans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tim Lucet couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Aspremont's Ghislain Barbin got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Aspremont's Vergil Kyurkchiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yvan Verdon in the 33rd minute of play. Tim Lucet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Vergil Kyurkchiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, one of Aspremont:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Mesclans's zone, Serge Broyer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernard Bachet came out of the goal and Serge Broyer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute Yvan Verdon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vergil Kyurkchiev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Tim Lucet sped through Aspremont's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vergil Kyurkchiev. The Aspremont players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mesclans were winning 0-3.

When Yvan Verdon came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Mesclans fans jumped to their feet. In the 69th minute, Mesclans's Yvan Verdon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vergil Kyurkchiev. Vergil Kyurkchiev yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. When Yvan Verdon came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Mesclans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yvan Verdon couldn't finish the play. Vergil Kyurkchiev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yvan Verdon in the 75th minute of the match. With his leg Vergil Kyurkchiev managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Mesclans's Tim Lucet fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Aspremont booed when Mesclans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Félicien Marguet didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Aymerick Lemoine was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aspremont's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mesclans the free kick. In the 86th minute, Aymerick Lemoine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tim Lucet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vergil Kyurkchiev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yvan Verdon in the 92nd minute of play. Mesclans's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
