Jarod Hatte was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 23 played minutes Arequipe got a freekick which was hit by Vivien Weill. In the 24thth minute of the game Morgan Prive who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arequipe's Jarod Hatte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jean-Marc Hayot's late challenge caught a Jerphagnon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jean-Marc Hayot helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jerphagnon FC booed when Arequipe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. When Camille Labbé came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Arequipe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camille Labbé couldn't finish the play. Camille Labbé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Yvan Servant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pierre-Henri Devin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarod Hatte having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

In the 53rd minute, Jerphagnon FC's Pierre-Henri Devin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5.
