Jérémy Ginola came out and tried to block the shot, but Pierre-Henri Devin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ouges's goalkeeper Jérémy Ginola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 13 minutes, Morgan Prive made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ouges's Jérémy Ginola tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Joseph Seret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jérémy Ginola having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Morgan Prive made a precise shot to the right of Jérémy Ginola. Ouges's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Pierre-Henri Devin had several of the Ouges's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Jérémy Ginola as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Laude in the 44th minute of play forced Jerphagnon FC's goalkeeper Yvan Servant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jérémy Ginola made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Morgan Prive sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pierre-Henri Devin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Antoine Gayet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jérémy Ginola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierre-Henri Devin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the game, Marvin Besson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jerphagnon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ouges the free kick. The supporters of Ouges booed when Jerphagnon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marvin Besson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pierre-Henri Devin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jérémy Ginola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pierre-Henri Devin went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Yvan Servant was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Paulo Simonetti capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulo Simonetti really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. The audience was convinced that Morgan Prive's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jérémy Ginola was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jerphagnon FC had played much better football throughout.
